Truck and van registrations surged during April, with increases of 49.9% and 47.6%, respectively, reaching totals of 2,882 and 15,696 units. This boost is partly due to the fact that Easter Week fell in April 2023, resulting in more working days for sales this year.
Accumulated registrations Year-to-date, industrial vehicle registrations total 10,946 units, marking a growth of 22.9%. All market segments show growth, with tractor units leading at 24.2% growth and 7,210 units sold.
In the case of vans, 53,350 units were registered in the first four months of 2024, representing a 19.5% increase compared to the same period last year.
In terms of sales channels, all are showing positive results. Sales to rental companies experienced the highest growth, up 70.8% with 2,588 units. Self-employed workers increased by 64.8% with 2,562 registrations, while company sales recorded 10,546 new units, a 39.4% increase.
