In record time and despite bureaucratic challenges in Spain, Tempodriver, a brand developed by Supply Chain Nukloo, has convinced a hundred transport companies in Spain to trust its services to employ 500 professional Peruvian drivers.
For the past two years, this platform has facilitated the hiring of drivers in Peru, leveraging a preferential agreement on immigration with Spain and the fact that Peruvian drivers have a convertible C+E driving license, which simplifies the hiring process.
Diego Carbajosa, director of Tempodriver, has stated that their goal is to process the hiring of 100 drivers per month in 2024 to help alleviate the shortage of drivers faced by road transport companies.
So far, a hundred fleets of goods and passenger transport have trusted Tempodriver, hiring Peruvian drivers in companies located in various regions of Spain.
In addition, Tempodriver is considering requests from companies in the Valencian Community and Andalusia, expanding its reach in the medium and long term.
To meet the demand of Spanish companies, Tempodriver has a pool of 25,000 Peruvian drivers looking for employment, who, after a selection and training process, can work in Spain within 3 to 6 months, depending on the region.
Tempodriver offers a comprehensive service that includes candidate search, training, and assistance with procedures to obtain the driving license and sign contracts with transport companies.
Currently, Tempodriver has around 1,700 requests from Spanish companies to hire drivers, and they are considering expanding to include mechanics as well.
To improve the training of drivers and mechanics, the company plans to open an academy in Peru with two instructors who will provide training on driving in Spain and Europe.
